Meredith S. Heller
Meredith S. Heller is an Associate in the firm's New York office. Meredith represents clients in commercial litigation and securities litigation, arbitration and regulatory matters. Meredith has considerable experience representing clients in white collar criminal matters, including complex securities cases, in the Federal courts, having argued cases before the Second Circuit Court of Appeals and tried cases to verdict in the New York Federal and State courts.
Meredith was recently appointed to the Ethics Committee of New York City Bar Association and has been a guest lecturer in Professional Responsibility at Columbia University School of Law. Meredith is the chair of the Lawyers Assistance Program Committee of the New York City Bar Association and has also been a Panel Speaker for the Practicing Law Institute's Bridge-the-Gap seminars in the area of legal ethics.
Meredith is a member of the New York State Bar Association, Association of the Bar of the City of New York, National Association of Criminal Defense Attorneys, New York State Association of Criminal Defense Attorneys, and the New York Women's Bar Association.
Meredith is admitted to the New York State Bar, the United States District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York, and the Second Circuit Court of Appeals. Meredith holds Bachelor’s and Master's degrees from Case Western Reserve University, and is a graduate of the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law, where she participated in the Innocence Project, both as a student and a research assistant.
